WWE combines Raw and Smackdown into one show! The Post Royal
Rumble Show!
Upon arrival I looked up... and there's a Steel Cage hanging
over the ring. A Steel Cage match tonight!
DARK MATCHES
Tajiri vs. Psychosis
Tajiri comes out with a great cheer. Then Psychosis surprises everyone
with his appearence. This was a good match with some good areial and cruiserweight
action.
WINNER: Tajiri via Pin (Kick of Death)
Triple H Segment
Pyro kicks off, which is different than the last few RAWs. Triple
H briefly talks about his victory, but then says that he really wants to talk
about the most impressive winner of the Royal Rumble: BATISTA. Triple
H tells him it would be an honor to face Batista at Wrestlemania 21. However
footage is shown of JBL (of smackdown) saying Batista is not in his league.
Triple H responds saying Batista can kick JBL's butt. and tells everyone they
are leaving. Batista looks stunned.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Simon Dean for IC Championship
Benjamin got a good response coming out. However a big groan when
Simon Dean came out. It wasn't even boos, it was groans. Simon tries
to cheat with the hand grip then using the bag, however Benjamin defeats Simon
Dean. Simon says that Benjamin won because he was using the Simon System.
Benjamin comes back, splashes Dean, then T-Bone Suplex.
WINNER: Shelton Benjamin via pin (Dragon Whip Heel Kick)
Triple H in Bischoff's office
Triple H demands for Bischoff to reveal who put the JBL footage on.
Triple H threatens and shows off the World Title Belt. But Bischoff says
he's in charge.
Christy Hemme, Edge, Shawn Micheals
Raw Diva Christy Hemme comes out and shoots shirts into the crowd.
Then Edge comes out and accuses Christy of rubbing in the fact that Edge didn't
win the Rumble. But he did defeat Shawn Michaels. Michaels comes
out and faces off with Edge. Funny when Michaels' mic doesn't work and
he has to "switch, saying it's embarrassing to switch mics during his air time."
Edge says Michaels was going to shake his hand if Edge won. Michaels shakes
his hand, but quickly delivers Sweet Chin Music and knocks Edge out. During
the Break, Edge was acting like a little kid grabbing onto the Referees.
Maven vs. Hurricane
Maven comes out like a real punk now. People still love the Hurricane
as he comes out.
WINNER: Maven via pin (Double Knee into the back)
Divas and Snitsky
The Divas are walking down the hall, but as they get to the woman's locker
room, Snitsky walks out, looking for someone, but leaves.
Bischoff and Long
Bischoff tells off Coach to find out who is behind it. Theodore
Long appears on Raw, but isn't responsible for the JBL footage, but he will
welcome Batista if he decides to leave Raw for Smackdown.
Stacy and Randy
Stacy tells Randy she's concerned about Randy's concussion. Randy
is prepared even though he had a concussion. He wants that opportunity
to prove he is still the legend killer.
Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho vs. La Resistance
Good athletic matches, as Benoits choops are met with WOOOOOOO!
All hell breaks loose after a great match. All the people are mixed up.
The ref is trying to regain control but finally gives up.
WINNER: No Contest (Double DQ)
Muhammad Hussan w/ Daivari vs Sgt Slaughter.
Muhammad comes out and complains about how both Smackdown and Raw discriminated
against him at the Royal Rumble. He issues an open challenge on anyone.
Out comes Sargent Slaughter. It's a good match. Slaughter looks good when
he lost weight, but he's put some back on and looks healthy. Every punch
and move by slaughter was followed well by the crowd. However he was out matched
by the younger stronger Hussan.
WINNER: Muhammad Hussan via submission (Camel Clutch)
Benoit and Jericho
Benoit and Jericho are nose to nose in a disagreement. but I couldn't hear
what they were saying.
Ric Flair and Triple H
Triple H thinks it over. but thinks maybe, he's selfish. Maybe
Batista should go to Smackdown, defeat JBL, and then Evolution can dominate
the entire WWE.
Eric Bischoff announces next week's matches.
Bischoff comes out and announces he's made a few good matches for Japan.
Benoit vs. Jericho in a submission. For the World Tag Team Championship
William Regal and Tajiri (who is from Japan) vs. La Resistance. and For the
World Title, Triple H vs. Edge. But lets continue on.
Randy Orton and Shawn Micheals vs. Evolution's Ric Flair and Triple H
(w/ Batista)
Micheals comes out and gets on the mic. He starts talking during
the commercial about kicking Edge. Then Evolution comes out. Big
time WOOOOOOOOS with Flair, Orton and Micheals trading off chops. Batista
grabs a chair and gets himself ejected from the match. Micheals puts the
Figure 4 on Flair, and Orton on Triple H. Eventually Orton takes
a fall and bumps his head. he seems out of it... and lost. Michaels
intercepts Triple H before a pedigree. Edge rushes to the ring, and tries
to spear Michaels, but spears Triple H. They fall to the outside.
Orton crawls over and covers Triple H for the win. Micheals helps Orton to the
back.
WINNER: Randy Orton and Shawn Micheals via Pin (Edge spears
Triple H)
Gene Snitsky vs Kane (Steel Cage Match)
Snitsky comes down. Then Kane. They battle, driving each
other into the cage. Then Trish Stratus comes out. She has a neck
brace because of the chokeslam from Kane. She tries to destract Kane,
but Kane grabs her and tries to chokeslam her again. But Snitsky saves
her and pushes her out. He could escape, but decides to go back for more.
He rips off the door and throws it into the ring. But Kane fights back
and sets up the door on the side, but standing. he atomic drops Snitsky
onto the door. Then throws the door flat and chokeslams Snitsky onto the
steel door
WINNER: Kane via Pin (Tomb Stone Pile Driver)
End of Raw
As the stage is transformed into the Smackdown set, the Smackdown Divas come
out to entertain the crowd. Let me say they are so hot! Michelle
McCool is the best.
John Cena Segment
John Cena comes out to the loudest ovation then night. He said
he was full of controversy with his raps, his apparel, and his matches.
But he's ready to move on. Then GM Theodore long comes out and says that
he's going to have an 8 man tournament to determine the #1 contender to the
WWE Champion, whom ever that is after No Way Out's Barb Wire Steel Cage match
between JBL and Big Show. JBL comes out with Amy Webber and Orlando Jordan
and objects to this tournament and objects to the Barb Wire Match. And
tells John Cena that he isn't in JBL's league. Jordon tries to attack
Cena, but is thrown out. Cena picks up JBL and FU. puts him down.
Kurt Angle Invitational
Kurt says he was screwed by Shawn Micheals. But he's ready for
the tournament next week vs Rey Mysterio. But for now he's on with the
invitational. But Nunzio comes out. He says Angle punked him out
and Nunzio wants revenge. Angle fights him and makes him submit by the
Ankle Lock
WINNER: Kurt Angle via Submission (Ankle Lock)
Rey Mysterio vs Mark Jindrak
Rey Mysterio has a good ovation, being from California. He jumped
out of the stage.
WINNER: Rey Mystreio via Pin (6-1-9, then Sissor toss into a pin)
EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE (cheers)
Big Show vs the Bashem Brothers (Handicap Match)
Big Show comes out to be in a handicap match. The Bashems come
out and try to attack, but Big Show makes easy work of the two brothers.
WINNER: Big Show via pin (Choke Slam)
EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE (cheers)
Rene Dupree vs. The Undertaker (Tournament Quarterfinal match)
Rene Dupree comes out with Fifi. But when the lights go out and
the GONG sounds the Cheers for the Undertaker overrode every other cheer (except
for Eddie, who was on later). Suddenly Luthor Reigns and Mark Jindrak
come out and cause problems on the outside. They distract Undertaker.
WINNER: Big Show via pin (Choke Slam)

Booker T vs. Eddie Gurerro (Tournament Quarterfinal Match)
Booker T comes out with pyro, heating up our seats. Then Eddie
rolls out in a lowrider. They face off. a good match, Eddie pretends
to hurt himself, however trying to creep up to pin Booker T. However Booker
T was able to roll up Eddie for the pin.
WINNER: Booker T via Pin (Roll up)
Post Match
Booker T is happy to win. But in front of all the eddie fans he
enjoyed kicking Eddie's ass. He tries to attack Eddie, but eddie fights
back and gives the frog splash to Booker T. Possible teaser of booker
T going bad? I think Eddie will go other way.
JBL and Orlando Jordan vs. Big Show
JBL and Jordan comes out and object to the match. JBL is hung over
and can't wrestle. Big Show doesn't care and comes out. Jordan is
thrown into the Big Show and the fight begins. But in the end, Bigshow puts
Jordan down.
WINNER: Big Show via pin (Chokeslam on Jordan)
BEST / WORST OF THE SHOW
The best match to me: Kane vs Snitsky was a great match.
The most impressive move: Kane dropping Snitsky on the door, smashing
Snitsky's nuts.
Loudest Pop: Undertaker, Eddie Gurrero, Batistia, John Cena
Happy to See: The Divas! There were so many people there I wasn't
dissappointed at all.
