I eat for this business,
and I would die for this business"

2001 was a momentous and tragic year for the Game.   In May of 2001, Triple H tore a quadraept muscle in his left leg.  The freak injury put the Game on the Injured list for over 8 months.  But through hard work and Determination, the Game worked his way back to become bigger, badder and better at the business he loves.  Wrestling...

Current Associations:

Ric Flair & (possibly) the Four Horsemen - When you team up with the 16 time World Champion, Ric Flair, you align yourself with a legend that will guide you towards greatness.  The Stylin' and Profilin' Boat sailin', jet cruisin' baby kissin', lady stealin' WOOOO Champion.  And now with Batista and (possibly) Randy Orton, the 4-Horsemen ride again.

Former Associations:

The Clique - the original lawbreakers consisting of 1-2-3 Kidd, Diesel, Razor Ramon and Shawn Micheals.  They stood together and influenced the WWF backstage as well as in the spotlight.  The group broke up when Diesel (Kevin Nash) and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) left for the WCW.

D-Generation X - The Sophmore class of jokers and pranksters.  Originally grouped with Shawn Micheals and Chyna.  They broke the rules and set a new standard of fun and excitement with skill and determination.  After Shawn Micheals left, dX expanded with X-Pac (1-2-3 Kidd / Sean Waltman) and the New Age Outlaws, Mr. Ass Billy Gunn and Road Dogg Jesse James.

The Cooperation / Cooperate Ministry - When Chyna broke away and joined the Cooperation, Triple H soon to follow, betraying the dX group.  The Cooperation / Cooperate Ministry was headed by Vince McMahon and The Undertaker.

When the group broke up, Triple H went Solo with Chyna as his manager

Infamous Moments

Rebels against the Boss:

Triple H vs. Vince McMahon - D-Generation X was fighting Vince McMahon.   Meanwhile, Test was going to marry Stephanie McMahon, Vince's daughter.  But while the WWF was in Nevada, Triple H got Stephanie drunk and had a drive-thru marriage.   The fight was on between Triple H and the Owner of the WWF.

Who Ran Over Stone Cold Steve Austin?:

In November of 1999, Stone Cold Steve Austin was run down by an anomous driver.   It turned out to be Rikisi driving the car.  But Rikisi was was hired by one man Triple H.  The hatred between Austin and Triple H rose higher than ever.   Triple H and his Sledgehammer beat down Austin.  but Austin would use a forklift to flip Triple H's car with him in it.  This all cumulated in a 2 of 3 falls match.  Round 1 - Falls count anywhere.  Round 2 - Street fight.  Round 3 - Cage Match.  Triple H barely survived this match as the Victor.  However the Fued is far from over.

Tragedy strikes:

Triple H was in the Intercontinatnal champion.  Austin was the Heavyweight Champion.  Together they were the Tag Team Champions.  And Vince McMahon was their Manager.  The Champions were in charge and throwing their abuse of power around.  Till they met Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho.  This match was when Triple H ripped his leg muscle to shreds.  However he fought through it for another 5 minutes, including a Walls of Jericho.  He finished it throguh tumendous pain.

Given the Championship

As Brock Lesner signs his contract to Smackdown!, he decided to take his championship to Smackdown and never see Raw again.  So Raw GM Eric Bishoff decides that the #1 contender Triple H would be awarded the World Championship (the old WCW Championship).   The Raw roster screams in anger as the title is given away.
