Our 49er History

kezar.jpg (38227 bytes)For over 30 years, My Family has been ticket holders for the San Francisco 49ers.   It started when the 49ers played in Kesar Stadium (1946-1970).  Then when the 49ers moved to Candlestick Park, our tickets became season tickets.  These tickets have been in the family since.

We've watched the 49ers go from one of the worst teams ever, to become the franchise standard of excellence.  In the 1980s, the era of Bill Walsh, Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, etc came in and took away 3 Championships.

In the 1990s, the Steve Young Era came in.  Though they didn't have the success of the predecessors, they took home 1 championship.

And now in the 2000s, Jeff Garcia, resident of Gilroy, CA, has become the Quarterback and the leader of the 49ers.  His weapons, the dangerously talented, Terrell Owens, and the running offense of Garrison Hearst and Kevan Barlow.  Plus the youth of the 49er Defense, mostly draft picks, less than 3 years in the pros, yet becoming one of the best.

The Goal is still the same.  Win the Super Bowl.  This team is ready to take over.
