Opening Night for the Sharks

The Sharks started the season with a BANG. We had alittle bit of everything in this game.

First off, the NHL changed the time allotted for TV timeouts and video. Well... they are longer.
Blues started out with a goal 36 seconds into the game, the Sharks came back, only for the Blues to come back.
The Sharks got 2 back-to-back 2-man advantage powerplays where they scored both times.
Then we had a goal review on the Blues' 3rd goal, which was allowed...
The Sharks had a goal reviewed, which was disallowed...
The glass got dislodged, so the crew had to come out and take it off then put it back in.
The poor Referee; a shot deflected and hit the Referee in the eye, and bled all over the ice. That's a tough shot for him.
Then on a powerplay, Cheechoo gets knocked down and kicks a hole into the side boards. That caused a 20 minutes delay.
Then finally, with 5 seconds left, the Blues tie the game, sending the game to overtime. Where teh Sharks eventually won.

This was definately a long game to be at. Anything and everything possible could have happened to delay the end of this game.

By the way, The Sharks start the season off with a WIN in overtime, 5-4.
